The unique feature of IM Translator is that it includes a transliteration module for Russian language. This will allow you to represent the Russian text with Latin characters in order to facilitate the transmission of Russian messages via the Internet. If you don't know whether the other party is able to receive and read a Russian text, IM Translator offers you an additional language pair RussianуTranslit you can find in the list of available languages. With this language pair you can convert your Russian message into a transliterated text (and vice versa) and send it out.
I didn't try it as I don't have Russian ,German and spanish friends. If you have one try it and tell howz it in your comments. If you know any other tools that serves the same purpose ,please post them in my comments for my readers.
